Swarna Bindu Prashana is an Ayurvedic technique to improve immunity in children. It is a method of administering gold calx (Swarna Bhasma) in very minute quantities to improve immunity, strength, memory and intelligence in children. The original reference for this technique is mentioned in Kashyapa Samhita.

Swarna Bhasma – Administering Gold calx in very minute quantities has been hailed since the times of Kashyapa and Vagbhata.

Vagbhata – in Ashtanga Hrudayam 7th chapter says, Na Sajjate Hemapange padmapatre ambuvat visham ||

In a person who has been given Gold bhasma for a long time, the poison can not do

any harm, similar to a water drop that can not touch the leaf of the lotus.

The person gains long life. Swarna Prashana is a natural, time tested, practiced for more than 1000s of years by our ancestors that builds over all health and intelligence naturally without leaving any harmful side effects.

The word “ Swarnaprashana ” is a combination of two words – “Swarna” and “Prashana”. The term Swarna is a common word and refers to the noble metal Gold. Prashana refers to the act of eating / consuming / ingesting.

Swarna prashana is an unique method of giving swarna bhasma (gold ash) mixed with honey and ghee that is fortified with an herbal extracts like vacha, brahmi, shankupushpi, etc. to children orally.
